Our story

FROM A LEBANESE KITCHEN,
TO YOUR EVERETT MORNING.

Lulu is a family-owned Lebanese café and neighborhood market. We opened our doors on Second Street to share the food, coffee, and hospitality we grew up with.

Why we opened

A little piece of Lebanon in Everett.

Lulu was born from a simple wish: to bring the warmth of a Lebanese kitchen, and the ritual of a slow cup of Arabic coffee, to our neighborhood in Everett, Massachusetts. We wanted a place that felt like home. Somewhere you could stop in for a morning manoushe, sit with a rose latte, and leave with a bag of groceries for dinner.

How we cook

Family recipes, made with care.

Our food follows the recipes our family has cooked for generations. Fresh flatbread for manoushe, spiced lahm b'ajin, baklava layered with pistachio and honey, and knafeh tucked into warm sesame kaak. Everything is halal, and everything is made with the same care we would put into a meal at our own table.

The market

Everyday essentials, plus a shelf from home.

Alongside the café, Lulu is a working neighborhood market. You will find everyday groceries, snacks, cold drinks, and pantry staples, next to a curated shelf of imported Lebanese favorites: olive oil, zaatar, sweets, and more. Whatever you came in for, we hope you find it, and then some.

Come in

Pull up a chair. Stay a while.

Whether you are grabbing coffee before work, catching up with a friend on the patio, or picking up dinner on the way home, we are glad you are here. Ahlan wa sahlan.
